Course Description

Objectives and competences

  1. - introduction to semantic terminology
  2. - foregrounding of the role of semantics in general and specific (translation-related) settings
  3. - understanding the inter-relatedness and relevance of semantic elements in both linguistic and extralinguistic matters.
